ArtisJP has sold 500 ha of farmland to the Land Fund of Latvia

December 2024 — ArtisJP has sold 500 hectares of agricultural land in the Ventspils region of western Latvia to the Land Fund of Latvia, managed by the Latvian state finance institution Altum.

Established in 1998, ArtisJP owns over 3,000 hectares of farmland in western Latvia. Headquartered in Liepāja, Latvia, the company’s primary business activities include agricultural crop production and the leasing of real estate.

The Land Fund of Latvia, operated by Altum, acquires, preserves and efficiently manages agricultural land to ensure its long-term productivity and availability. Since its inception in 2015, the fund has leased more than 34,000 hectares of farmland to Latvian farmers, contributing significantly to the protection, accessibility and sustainable use of agricultural resources at a national level.

Cibus has acquired Aweta from Standard Investment

Standard Investment has reached an agreement with Cibus Capital, advisor to the Cibus funds, on the sale of Aweta, a global leader in fruit and vegetable sorting, grading and packing equipment. Completion of the transaction is expected in the coming weeks. The transaction provides Aweta with a strong partner to support the company’s next growth phase. Under Cibus’ ownership, Aweta will pursue further international growth and accelerate investment in R&D, supporting the installed base and product innovation, including software and AI capabilities. Aweta’s leadership team will continue to lead the business.

Swiss Estates AG liess eine Fairness Opinion zum Übernahmeangebot von Kolumbus Group AG erstellen

Am 22. Juli 2026 veröffentlichte die Kolumbus Group AG ein öffentliches Kaufangebot für die sich im Publikum befindenden Namenaktien und Inhaber-Partizipationsscheine sowie für die von ihr nicht gehaltenen, nicht kotierten Namenaktien der Swiss Estates AG. Der Angebotspreis betrug CHF 3.00 netto je kotiertes Beteiligungspapier und CHF 0.30 netto je nicht kotierte Namenaktie. Nach erfolgreichem Abschluss des Angebots beabsichtigt die Kolumbus Group, die Beteiligungspapiere zu dekotieren. Der Verwaltungsrat der Swiss Estates gab die Erstellung einer Fairness Opinion zur Beurteilung der finanziellen Angemessenheit des öffentlichen Kaufangebots in Auftrag.
