Agrícola Industrial Lo Valledor AASA S.A. has conducted a fairness opinion in a shareholder transaction in order to reorganize the ownership structure and facilitate a future transition. The company’s ownership was distributed almost equally among three branches of a local family. Following a comprehensive analysis of the company, its business units and the market environment, the independent valuation served as the basis for a shareholder transaction in which one family acquired 100% of the stakes held by the others.

AASA is a Chilean holding company with more than 35 years of experience in the meat industry, operating a vertically integrated business model that spans pig farming, processing, distribution and the commercialization of pork and beef products, in addition to a renewable energy generation division. The owner of is a Chilean family with a long-standing track record in the meat industry

Oaklins’ team in Chile acted as the independent valuer in this successful shareholder transaction involving AASA.
