WOOD & Company City – OPF has acquired CIB Rental
June 2026 — WOOD & Company City – OPF (open-ended fund) has acquired a 100% stake in CIB Rental, s.r.o. from CIB Group. The fund’s investment is focused on the revitalization of a fully leased residential area in Prague–Písnice, Czech Republic, a popular residential district comprising family houses and apartment buildings. The location benefits from a newly extended tram line, fast access to the Prague Ring Road and a future Metro Line D station. The investment strategy aims to enhance the value of the asset through a high-quality urban redevelopment concept, including its functional integration with the surrounding local community.
WOOD & Company City – OPF is an open-ended fund for qualified investors focused on residential real estate investments. Its strategy is based on the revitalization of existing residential assets, with value creation driven by high-quality urban planning, redevelopment and active asset management.
CIB Rental, s.r.o. owns and manages a residential real estate portfolio comprising approximately 760 apartments. Developed in the late 1970s and early 1980s, these residential properties are located in the southern part of Prague.
CIB Group focuses on the leasing, management and development of its residential and office real estate portfolio. The group owns more than 1,300 apartments, representing approximately 80,000 square meters of residential floor area, and over 18,000 square meters of office space.
Our role in the transaction
Oaklins’ team in the Czech Republic acted as the buy-side advisor to WOOD & Company City – OPF in the acquisition. The team supported the client throughout the transaction process, including target analysis, transaction structuring, negotiations and documentation.

Swiss Estates AG liess eine Fairness Opinion zum Übernahmeangebot von Kolumbus Group AG erstellen
Am 22. Juli 2026 veröffentlichte die Kolumbus Group AG ein öffentliches Kaufangebot für die sich im Publikum befindenden Namenaktien und Inhaber-Partizipationsscheine sowie für die von ihr nicht gehaltenen, nicht kotierten Namenaktien der Swiss Estates AG. Der Angebotspreis betrug CHF 3.00 netto je kotiertes Beteiligungspapier und CHF 0.30 netto je nicht kotierte Namenaktie. Nach erfolgreichem Abschluss des Angebots beabsichtigt die Kolumbus Group, die Beteiligungspapiere zu dekotieren. Der Verwaltungsrat der Swiss Estates gab die Erstellung einer Fairness Opinion zur Beurteilung der finanziellen Angemessenheit des öffentlichen Kaufangebots in Auftrag.
