März 2013 — Swiss Post Solutions (Schweizerische Post) hat die in der Schweiz und in Deutschland tätige Scalaris AG übernommen.
Die Schweizerische Post ist der Postdienst der Schweiz. Als öffentliches Unternehmen im Besitz der Schweizerischen Eidgenossenschaft ist sie der zweitgrösste Arbeitgeber des Landes. Sie unterstützt die Kunden als Gesamtlösungsanbieterin, indem sie ganze Geschäftsprozesse wie die Verarbeitung der physischen Hauspost, die Digitalisierung von Geschäftsdokumenten, die Extraktion von Daten, die elektronische Zuordnung von Dokumenten sowie die Druckausgabe und elektronische Archivierung übernimmt.
Mit dem Kauf des Softwarespezialisten Scalaris erweitert die Schweizerische Post ihr Know-how und ihr Produktportfolio für digitale Dokumentenlösungen erheblich. Damit gewinnt sie auch neue Kunden. Digitalisierungs- und Dokumentenverarbeitungslösungen sind wichtige Bestandteile der Wachstumsstrategie der Schweizerischen Post.
