Philippe Hermant

Senior Advisor

Philippe is a senior advisor at Oaklins France and leads the firm’s agriculture and food & beverage teams as well as Oaklins International’s alcoholic beverages team. With over 30 years of investment banking and financial advisory experience, Philippe has completed more than 100 merger and acquisition transactions. Notable deals he has advised on recently include the acquisition of Grupo IberSnacks by Europe Snacks Groupe, the acquisition of Arluy by Biscuit International and the acquisition of Swedish OatFiber by Naturex.

Prior to joining Oaklins France in 2014, Philippe was a partner at Transcapital, an M&A boutique specialized in the food & beverage industry. Before that, he spent most of his career at BNP Group, first in Banexi and after the BNP-Paribas merger in 2000 as MD in the food & beverage mergers & acquisitions department at BNP Paribas Corporate Finance. Philippe has a JD in Business Law and is a CESB graduate.
