Lukáš Palaščák

Lukas is a director at Oaklins WOOD & Co. in Slovakia. Over the past 13 years he has worked on numerous M&A transactions and advisory projects, with a particular focus on the energy, utilities, technology and real estate sectors. Notable transactions include advising Macquarie Infrastructure and Real Assets on the acquisition of a stake in EPIF and managing the Slovak government’s advisory team during EPH’s acquisition of Slovenske Elektrarne, the largest Slovak electricity producer. He also managed the acquisition of Aupark Bratislava shopping center, the largest real estate transaction in the history of Slovakia; advised the shareholders of Sygic on the sale of the business to Eurowag; and has executed multiple investments on behalf of various private equity vehicles.

Lukas has a bachelor’s degree in international economic relations and business diplomacy from the University of Economics and a master’s in financial management from Comenius University, both in Bratislava. Lukas has also successfully passed Level I of the CFA Program.
