Michael is a partner at Oaklins Cavendish, one of Oaklins’ member firms in the UK, where he leads the healthcare team. He has experience in many healthcare sub-sectors, including pharma, life sciences, medtech, diagnostics, healthcare services and the care and education segments. Some notable transactions he has worked on include arranging sales to some of the largest global corporates, such as the sale of Intelligent Ultrasound’s clinical AI business to GE Healthcare, Polar Speed Thermologistics to UPS and the sale of Finsbury Orthopaedics to Johnson and Johnson. Most recently he advised on the sale of EIDO Healthcare to Radar Healthcare.

Michael joined Oaklins Cavendish in 2006. Prior to this, he spent 18 months at Monitor, the independent regulator of foundation trust hospitals, where he assessed and monitored the financial performance and business plans of some of the largest NHS hospitals in the UK seeking the autonomy of foundation status. Michael graduated from Oxford University in 1997 with a mathematics degree.
