West Lodge Holdings has been acquired by Prestige Care Group
October 2025 — West Lodge Care Home, part of West Lodge Holdings Limited, has been acquired by UK-based care home provider Prestige Care Group Limited, marking an important milestone in the continued growth and consolidation of high‑quality elderly care provision across the region.
West Lodge Care Home is a family-owned residential care home near Crook, County Durham, that offers long-term care for people aged 65 and older. Established in 1996, it provides residential care for up to 60 residents. As part of the transaction, the existing management team will remain with the business to support a smooth operational and cultural handover to the new owners.
Prestige Care Group is a Northeast UK care home provider with over 25 years’ experience delivering residential, nursing and dementia care. The group operates multiple purpose-built care centers offering person-centred support, aiming to treat each resident as an individual and provide both high-quality care and a home-from-home atmosphere. It comprises eight care homes and employs more than 350 staff, offering residential care to older people across the region.
