Capsol has been acquired by Angus Capital

December 2025 — Capsol has been acquired by Angus Capital as part of its strategy to build a leading construction services group alongside other portfolio companies. This partnership marks a new phase of growth for Capsol, providing the platform, resources and strategic support needed to accelerate its development and expand its market presence.

Founded in 1980, Capsol is a leading and highly specialized distributor and installer of architectural hardware for doors and door frames. Architectural hardware encompasses a wide range of functional and design-driven components, such as door handles, locks, smart locking systems, hinges, knobs, latches and related accessories, which play a critical role in both the performance and aesthetics of buildings. Recognized as a market leader in Eastern Canada, Capsol offers a fully integrated value proposition combining light manufacturing and assembly, maintenance, distribution and custom installation services.
