Envases y Laminados (ELSA) has been acquired by Chilean Industrial Drums

The shareholders of Envases y Laminados (ELSA) have sold the company to Chilean Industrial Drums, a manufacturer of plastic and metal containers, for US$15 million.

ELSA is a Mexican plastic and metal container manufacturing company which aims to remain market leader or top tier competitor in each of the markets in which it competes (petrochemical, chemical and food & beverage). With four industrial plants and being active in six business lines, ELSA has a product portfolio of more than 50 products.
