Omnetic, member of EAG Group, has raised growth capital from Kartesia and CVI
EAG Group has completed a first investment round for its Omnetic platform. The company was seeking growth capital of up to US$110 million in order to consolidate the CEE markets and finance its expansion to new geographies. The transaction was closed with Kartesia, the European specialist provider of capital solutions for small- and mid-sized companies, in partnership with CVI, a private debt investor based in Warsaw, Poland.

KOSIT AS has successfully secured US$260 million in new debt financing from a syndicate comprising Tatra banka AS and Československá obchodná banka AS (ČSOB). Most of the proceeds will fund a new waste-to-energy plant in Košice, Slovakia, expanding KOSIT’s existing facility to produce electricity and heat. The remainder will fund acquisitions, further development projects and the refinancing of existing debt. The financing reinforces KOSIT’s position as a leading Slovak waste management group, operating one of the country’s two strategic waste-to-energy plants.

Aupark Bratislava has successfully secured US$320 million in bank financing. The facility refinances the existing debt and provides an additional top-up facility, making it one of the largest real estate financing transactions in the Slovak market. The financing was provided by a syndicate of five banking groups comprising UniCredit Bank, ČSOB (KBC), ING, Tatra banka (Raiffeisen) and VÚB banka (Intesa Sanpaolo). UniCredit Bank acted as the coordinator, leading the syndicate’s execution.
