NetNordic has acquired Itectra

January 2026 — Norvestor-backed NetNordic has acquired Danish optical network solutions firm Itectra. The transaction marks NetNordic’s 25th acquisition since 2015, further strengthening its position in the Nordic market. It enables NetNordic to expand its market relevance through deeper expertise in optical network solutions, consolidating its standing in larger Nordic projects and creating cross-selling opportunities between NetNordic’s network solutions and Itectra’s optical capabilities.

Based in Aalborg, Denmark, Itectra specializes in optical network solutions. The company has strong expertise in the design, implementation and maintenance of fiber-optic infrastructure supporting high-speed connections and low-latency data transmission.

NetNordic is a Nordic system integrator and managed service provider specializing in network, cybersecurity, cloud and collaboration solutions and services. The company supports the secure and efficient delivery of business-critical solutions for large and medium-sized Nordic enterprises across the private and public sectors. In 2024, NetNordic reported pro forma revenue of approximately US$300 million and employed around 650 people across subsidiaries in Norway, Sweden, Denmark and Finland.

Moneybox’s employee share sale has set another milestone for London’s Private Securities Market

The London Stock Exchange’s Private Securities Market (PSM) continues to demonstrate its potential as a venue for providing shareholder liquidity in high-growth private companies. Following the successful employee share sale for autonomous driving pioneer Wayve earlier this month, fintech leader Moneybox has completed a US$61 million (£45 million) employee liquidity event through the PSM. By structuring the transaction as an employee liquidity event, long-serving employees with vested equity have been able to realize some of the value they helped create while enabling Moneybox to remain private and continue its growth journey. Crowdcube managed the employee seller and investor participation process.
