Koen Bodewes

Associate Director

Koen is an associate director in the M&A mid-market team at Oaklins Netherlands. He works across the industrials, TMT and business services sectors, with a specific focus on industrial automation. He has extensive experience in sell-side, buy-side and fundraising advisory assignments for family business owners, corporates and private equity firms. Notable M&A transactions include the sale of Aweta by Standard Investment to Cibus Capital, the sale of Crux Agribotics to VDL, the sale of Dolmans Landscaping Group to Foreman Capital, the acquisition of Dräger’s Dutch fire & gas business unit by Unica, the sale of Top Systems to Holland Capital, the fundraising of iwell led by Meridiam, the sale of TOPIC to Technology & Strategy and the sale of Embrace to Aareon.

Koen joined Oaklins in 2021 following internships at a corporate finance boutique and Oaklins Netherlands in 2020. He has a master’s in finance and investments (cum laude) from Erasmus University Rotterdam and a bachelor’s degree in business economics from Utrecht University.
