DigitalXRAID has been acquired by Limerston Capital
July 2025 — DigitalXRAID Ltd., a cybersecurity services specialist, has been acquired by the cybersecurity platform of Limerston Capital, a UK mid-market private equity firm. This transaction marks a significant milestone in DigitalXRAID’s growth journey and supports its ambition to become a leading provider of cybersecurity services in the UK.
Headquartered in Doncaster, UK, and employing a team of 45, DigitalXRAID brings over 25 years of experience in delivering cybersecurity services. The company specializes in vulnerability management, threat intelligence, information security, PCI-DSS compliance, penetration testing, managed security services and security consultancy, and operates a fully managed Security Operations Centre (SOC). Its client base spans a range of sectors, including financial services, retail and critical national infrastructure.
Founded in 2015 by James Paget, João Rosa and Martim Avillez, London-based Limerston Capital focuses on control investments in UK mid-market companies, applying a buy-and-build and operationally focused value creation strategy. The firm targets businesses with EBITDA between US$6.7 million and US$20.2 million that offer strong value propositions, potential for operational improvement, mispriced underlying returns on capital and opportunities for strategic repositioning through consolidation.

The offering attracted strong demand from international institutional and Czech investors, resulting in a successful placement at US$1.33 per share, a 7.4% discount to the previous close and a 2.2% discount to the one-month volume-weighted average price (VWAP).
