Senior Associate

Florian is a senior associate at Oaklins Germany, focusing on sell-side mandates in the German mid-market and on cross-border transactions. He primarily advises founders, family-owned businesses, private equity investors and international corporates across the TMT, energy and packaging sectors, reflecting a broad understanding of both traditional and technology-driven business models. Recent transactions he has been involved in include the acquisition of WESTFA Energy GmbH by Mabanaft GmbH & Co. KG and the sale of Aspicon GmbH, a German  IT service provider, to the private equity firm Patrimonium.

Prior to joining Oaklins, Florian worked in different corporate finance and M&A consultancies in Hamburg and Frankfurt, where he contributed to M&A transactions in various industries, such as food and beverage, TMT and automotive. Before that, he worked in the corporate finance and key account management department of a leading German bank for several years. Florian has a master’s in financial management from the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam and a bachelor’s degree in economics and business administration from the University of Hannover.
