Brian Levin

Managing Director

Brian is a managing director at Oaklins Intrepid, one of Oaklins’ US member firms, where he is co-head of the food, beverage & agriculture (FBA) team. Within the FBA industry, Brian advises clients in consumer packaged goods, distribution, private label, ingredients, nutrition and other key sectors of the industry. He has also completed transactions across other areas of the consumer sector, including toys & giftware, lifestyle brands and beauty, personal care & wellness. Recent transactions he has advised on include the sales of California Custom Fruits and Flavors to Peak Rock Capital; Cloudco Entertainment to IVEST Consumer Partners; and Entertainment Earth, Inc. to IVEST Consumer Partners.

Prior to joining Oaklins Intrepid in 2010, Brian was a syndication officer at CapitalSource Finance, focused on underwriting and syndicating leveraged finance transactions. While at CapitalSource, he syndicated more than 25 loans totaling a value of more than US$1.8 billion to 90 unique investors. Brian started his career in investment banking as an analyst at Mesirow Financial Investment Banking, working on merger and acquisition advisory and fairness/solvency opinions. Brian graduated from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor with a BA in History and has an MBA from the Anderson School of Management at UCLA. He is a registered representative licensed with FINRA.
