Don Wiggins

Principal

Don is the chairman of Oaklins Heritage in Jacksonville and Savannah. He provides strategic consulting, exit advice and sell-side and buy-side transaction services to logistics clients, including distribution, storage, trucking, moving, rail service providers, local delivery and logistics technology. He is also on the firm’s supply chain team, which advises clients in the sale and acquisition of manufacturing and logistics companies. Don has completed many transactions for a wide variety of supply chain companies with both strategic acquirors and private equity buyers. In addition, he has provided strategic advice, valuation and related services to more than 4,000 companies over 35-plus years. Recent transactions include the sale of Mittauer & Associates and SprayEZ, and the acquisition of US Legal by an affiliate of CCW Safe.

Don has more than 25 years of university teaching experience, including freshman through PhD level courses in corporate finance, investments and all areas of accounting, at Clemson University and the University of North Florida, where he is professor emeritus of accounting and finance. He received his BBA and MBA degrees from Georgia Southern University and a DBA degree from Louisiana Tech University. Don is also a CPA, and holds several other licenses and certifications from FINRA, the State of Florida, ASA and other professional organizations and regulatory authorities. He is a frequent lecturer and author on valuation and M&A topics.
