Acquisition in the chemical shipping sector

Sogestran Shipping SAS has acquired the remaining 35% of the shares of De Poli Tankers Holding from Arcoin Holding, and now has 100% of the shares.

De Poli Tankers Holding, founded in 1993, is a vertically integrated shipping company providing seaborne chemicals transportation services globally. It manages a fleet of 15 chemical tankers, transporting a wide range of products and providing value-added services according to the highest industry standards and regulations. The company is headquartered in Barendrecht, Netherlands, and has 30 employees.

Sogestran Shipping is an expert in high value-added inland navigation and maritime transport, and provides solutions for logistics flows: tank and container repairs, and storage of hazardous materials.

Oaklins’ team in the Netherlands supported the minority shareholder Arcoin Holding in this transaction.
