July 2026 — Heka Dental, a leading Danish designer and manufacturer of premium dental treatment units, has been acquired by the Swedish private equity firm Impilo. The acquisition establishes Heka Dental as a strategic platform for consolidation in the European dental equipment market. Impilo will execute a focused buy-and-build strategy to accelerate growth and expand its footprint across Europe.
Founded in 1965 and headquartered in Denmark, Heka Dental develops and manufactures complete assemble-to-order dental treatment unit solutions that integrate patient chairs, treatment units, ergonomic lighting systems and dental instruments. The company has built a strong reputation based on its Nordic design heritage, high quality standards and ergonomic innovation, developed in close collaboration with dentists. Heka Dental employs more than 60 professionals and operates a state-of-the-art production and development facility in Denmark, serving customers globally with a primary focus on Europe.
