Tobias Hak

Associate

Tobias is an associate in the debt advisory team at Oaklins Netherlands. He has extensive experience in advising private equity firms on sponsor-backed acquisition financings and refinancings, while also supporting corporates on debt raising processes across a broad range of sectors. He has been involved in numerous financing transactions, including the acquisition financing for Gimv’s acquisition of Hemink; the acquisition of and subsequent amend and extend financing for Castellum Security by HC Partners; the stapled financing supporting Main Capital Partners’ acquisition of CarWise; the acquisition financing supporting Nordian Capital’s acquisition of BlueTrail; and the acquisition financing for DSG, backed by Lexar Partners, in connection with the acquisitions of Cloudiction and E-mergo.

Prior to joining the firm in 2022, Tobias completed an internship in private debt as well as at Oaklins Netherlands, and worked as a student at Adyen. He obtained his bachelor’s degree in economics and business economics from Utrecht University and completed his master’s degree in economics and business, with a specialization in behavioural economics, at Erasmus University Rotterdam.
