Paul is a director at Oaklins S&W, one of Oaklins’ member firms in the UK. He is a chartered accountant with 15 years’ post-qualification experience, of which the last 13 have been as a member of the corporate finance team. His key areas of expertise are in automotive, tourism and TMT, having worked on several domestic and cross-border transactions in these sectors. Notable M&A deals he has advised on include the sale of ResponseSource Limited to Access Intelligence PLC, the sale of Wessex Garages to listed Japanese car distributor VT Holdings, the sale of East Yorkshire Motor Services to the Go-Ahead Group and the sale of Dorset Coastal Cottages to Travel Chapter. Paul also worked closely with SUEZ Advanced Solutions on its M&A strategy to identify and acquire four specialist environmental consultants and laboratories in the UK, and he has assisted Bradfords Building Supplies with numerous acquisitions.
