January 2017 — The private shareholders of Sekargas Ir Kompanija have sold the company to J.S. Hamilton Poland. Financial details have not been disclosed.
Established in 1996, Sekargas Ir Kompanija is one of the first and largest cargo inspection service providers in the Baltic region. The company’s main market is Lithuania (Port of Klaipėda). It also operates in major ports of Latvia, Kaliningrad (Russia) and other Baltic seaports.
J.S. Hamilton Poland is a group of companies located in the CEE countries providing a wide range of specialized services for traders, retailers, producers, industry, transport, distribution and storage. It is Poland’s second largest provider of independent inspection and analytical services.
