Director General

Giulio is head of equity capital markets and a managing director at Banca Akros, the parent company of Oaklins Italy. He leads the ECM team on the origination and execution of all ECM products, such as IPOs, rights issues, ABBs, secondary offerings, SPACs and PTOs, across the size and sector spectrum. Selected transactions he has advised on include Net Insurance’s translisting from Euronext Growth Milan to Euronext STAR Milan; Landi Renzo’s rights issue (financial advisor); Saipem’s rights issue (joint bookrunner); Generalfinance’s IPO on Euronext STAR Milan (global coordinator and sponsor); Banca Intermobiliare’s public tender offer (financial advisor and appointed broker); Salcef’s capital increase through an ABB (joint bookrunner); Panaria’s public tender offer (financial advisor and appointed broker); a SPAC’s IPO on AIM Italia (global coordinator, NOMAD and specialist); and Almawave’s IPO on AIM Italia (global coordinator and NOMAD).

Giulio graduated in accounting, corporate finance and control from Bocconi University in Milan. Before joining Oaklins Italy/Banca Akros, he worked at EQUITA SIM for 12 years as a director of the investment banking division in ECM, DCM and M&A and at UBI Banca as a director of corporate and investment banking in equity and debt capital markets.
