Vikas Dawra

Managing Partner

Vikas is the managing partner and founder of Oaklins India. He has over 25 years of investment banking experience, with a track record of leading more than 250 transactions in M&A, private equity, cross-border, joint ventures and alliances, as well as public market transactions.

Prior to Oaklins India, Vikas was part of the founding team of YES Bank, a highly successful investment banking business. He exited the firm as joint managing director, CEO and board member in 2021. Previously, he had worked at Rabobank India and Arthur Andersen. He has an MBA from the Faculty of Management Studies (FMS) in Delhi along with a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from Punjab Engineering College in Chandigarh.
