Michal Staron
Partner
Michal is a local partner at Oaklins WOOD & Co. in Slovakia. He has over 20 years of experience in the investment banking industry and has advised clients on a wide range of transactions, including privatizations, M&A, PPP and capital raises. Recent transactions include the sale of Chirmax Germany (medical distribution business), the complete divestment of Sygic (navigation software) and the capital raise for a number of real estate deals in the office and retail space. Other key clients are private companies and public authorities in Slovakia in the financial services and road infrastructure industry.
Michal started his career in corporate finance before transitioning to several assignments in the investment banking and asset management domain at Oaklins WOOD & Co. He graduated from Comenius University Bratislava with a master’s in financial management.
