Alistair is a partner at Oaklins Cavendish, one of Oaklins’ member firms in the UK. Specializing in debt advisory services, he has led numerous debt advisory engagements for a range of private, publicly-listed and private equity-owned businesses. Recent transactions include supporting Inflexion Private Equity’s acquisition of Creative Car Parks and Alston Elliott, Connection Capital’s acquisitions of JCRA and Tempcover, public company refinancing for Kape Technologies plc and Morses Club plc as well as private company financing for Pets Corner and HFMC Wealth.

Before joining the firm in 2016, Alistair was a director in EY’s capital and debt advisory business. Prior to that, he spent 11 years at the Royal Bank of Scotland in various transactional roles within its UK corporate banking division, where he specialized in event-driven financings for corporates and financial sponsors. Over his 4+ years as a director in RBS’ structured finance team, Alistair led more than 40 transactions (incorporating over US$7 billion of debt financing) across a number of different sector and financing scenarios. He graduated with a bachelor’s degree in economics and finance from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2003 and became an associate member of both the Association of Corporate Treasurers (ACT) and Securities and Investment Institute (SII) in 2005.
