José Tomás Brahm

José Tomás is a partner at Oaklins LarrainVial in Chile, with more than 11 years of experience in sell-side and buy-side M&A transactions, IPOs, debt issues, debt restructurings and syndicated loans. He has extensive expertise in the energy and infrastructure sector, having closed more than 10 deals in this space. He led the tender offer to acquire 33% of AES Andes by US-based AES Corp; he completed the syndicated loan financing for Mundo, a leading FTTH firm in Chile; and he advised on IG4 Capital’s acquisition of Aenza (formerly known as Graña y Montero) in Peru. José has been involved in transactions across a wide range of other industries, including agribusiness, entertainment, hospitality, automotive and construction & engineering.
José Tomás joined the firm in 2010. He is an industrial engineering graduate from the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile.
