Kran og Industri Service has entered Denmark through the acquisition of Hytek
August 2026 — Kran og Industri Service (KIS), a leading provider of crane, lifting equipment and industrial service solutions, has acquired Hytek AS, a Danish specialist in hydraulic and mechanical services.
KIS, an IK Partners portfolio company, is a leading provider of inspection, service and maintenance for cranes and lifting equipment, with more than 420 employees serving over 4,600 customers across Denmark, Norway and the Netherlands.
Headquartered in Sindal, with an additional facility in Frederikshavn, Hytek provides hydraulic and mechanical solutions to customers across the shipyard, offshore and industrial sectors. The company is recognized for its specialized technical expertise, longstanding customer relationships and strong position in hydraulic service and maintenance solutions in Denmark. Hytek will continue to operate as an independent company within the KIS portfolio, maintaining its focus on quality, expertise and service.
