KTL has received investment from Exponent

August 2026 — Exponent Private Equity has invested in KTL, underscoring its focus on backing high-quality Irish businesses. This investment also marks an exciting new chapter for KTL, accelerating the company’s growth and strengthening its footprint across its core telecommunications and power sectors in Ireland and the UK.

KTL is a critical infrastructure services provider operating across two core sectors: mobile telecommunications and power. The company delivers end-to-end mobile infrastructure services to mobile network operators (MNOs) across the UK and Ireland, as well as power engineering services for overhead lines to distribution network operators (DNOs) in Ireland and the UK. KTL employs approximately 550 people.

Exponent is a leading European mid-market private equity firm founded in 2004. The firm invests across the UK, Ireland, Benelux and the Nordics.

Our role in the transaction
