Mike Young

Mike is a principal at Oaklins Heritage in Jacksonville. He is a seasoned executive with a strong business management background within the metals industry.

Mike began his career at Newport News Iron & Steel, where he served as general manager, overseeing project management and retail operations. He later joined Chatham Steel Corporation, rising to vice president and COO managing various departments and multiple locations. From 2018 to 2022, he served as president and CEO of Klein Steel Service, Inc., navigating the company through a phase of improvement which led to its successful sale. Mike is actively engaged in community service, serving on several boards, including the Metals Service Center Institute (MSCI) and the United Way of the Coastal Empire. Mike pursued his education at Chrisopher Newport University and the University of South Carolina.
