Christoph Rummelt

Christoph is a director at Oaklins Germany and leads its construction & engineering services team, with a clear focus on engineering and infrastructure. With more than 12 years of M&A experience, he advises private shareholders, private equity investors and corporates on transactions involving engineering service providers, specialist contractors and infrastructure-related businesses, with particular attention to tech-enabled companies in the space. Recent transactions include the sale of Heidersberger Fassadenbau to UPFRONT Group (AUCTUS) and of Grothe Bau to TERRAS Tiefbau Group. Building on this industrial background, Christoph also advises clients in aerospace, defense & security, most recently on the sale of the assets of Leichtwerk to Rheinmetall and the sale of a majority stake in WELP Group to IMC Individual Mobility Capital.

Christoph joined Oaklins Germany in 2013 after working in sales, advisory and group controlling at large German Mittelstand companies in Stuttgart and Frankfurt. He further developed his expertise as a visiting consultant at an Oaklins member firm in the USA. Christoph has a master’s degree in finance and accounting from the University of Münster. Before that, he studied at the University of Tübingen and spent a semester studying abroad.
