Martin is a partner at Oaklins WOOD & Co. in Slovakia. He has advised various asset management vehicles and private investors on multiple local as well as cross-border real estate transactions, with a primary focus on office and retail commercial property. Martin’s extensive knowledge of the field is also underpinned by his asset management experience in the sector. Recent real estate transactions he has advised on include the acquisitions of Aupark Tower, Lakeside Park and BBC Five business centers in Bratislava. Martin has also advised on transactions in energy, utilities, healthcare, telecoms, ICT, engineering, construction materials, general manufacturing and waste management. Notable transactions include the valuation and buy-back of a minority stake in the crude oil pipeline operator Transpetrol for the Slovak government; participation in the set-up of a joint venture, valuation and feasibility study for a new nuclear power plant in the Slovak Republic; and the dual-track sale of a shareholding in Slovak Telekom.

Martin joined the firm in 2004. Previously, he worked for PricewaterhouseCoopers in Bratislava. He obtained a master’s in financial management from Comenius University in Bratislava.
