Valērija is a partner at Oaklins Baltics in Riga with over 20 years of experience in corporate finance and mergers and acquisitions advisory. Recent transactions she has worked on include the sale of GroGlass, a Riga-based provider of anti-reflective and advanced glass coatings, to Apogee Enterprises, a US listed company (Nasdaq: APOG); the sale of Superhome Center, the leading home improvement retail chain in Cyprus; advising Possessor, the Latvian state holding company, on the merger of LMT and Tet; the sale of NCH Capital’s majority stake in Gaižēni, the leading pig farming business in Latvia, to Merito Partners; and the sale of Valmiermuižas alus, the Latvian premium craft brewer, to Olvi Group, listed on Nasdaq Helsinki.
 
Valērija previously served on the Executive Committee of Oaklins International and on the boards of several leading companies in the Baltics. She has a Master of Science in Consulting and Coaching for Change (with distinction) from Oxford and HEC Paris, a Bachelor of Science in Economics and Business Administration from the Stockholm School of Economics in Riga and she is a CFA charterholder.
