Thomas is the head of corporate finance at Oaklins KBC Securities in Belgium, with a distinguished 20-year career in investment banking. He has a wealth of experience in M&A advisory and ECM across various sectors, particularly in the food and agriculture industries. Thomas has successfully led numerous high-profile transactions, including the public takeover bid by TPG on Intervest O&W and the sales of Den Berk Délice, Van Damme Hungaria, Jeco Energies and Cipal Schaubroeck.
 
Thomas began his career in 2005 at ING-Barings in London, focusing on cross-border M&A and equity capital market transactions. In 2008, he joined the corporate finance team at Petercam, where he continued to build his expertise before moving to Oaklins KBC Securities in 2016. He has a master’s in commercial engineering from the University of Antwerp (UFSIA) and a master’s in financial management from Vlerick Business School. Thomas’ extensive experience and academic background make him a highly respected professional in the investment banking industry.
