Avectris has acquired Logicare
July 2020 — Swiss IT services company Avectris AG has acquired Logicare AG, a specialized IT services provider for healthcare companies. Logicare will be integrated into Avectris. Through the merger, Avectris will specifically enhance its expertise in the healthcare sector.
Avectris is an experienced IT service provider for medium-sized Swiss companies, primarily in the service provider, finance, healthcare, industrial, legal, public and utility sectors. Avectris offers its customers comprehensive one-stop IT services. The focus is on hybrid cloud solutions, outsourcing, SAP S/4HANA, collaboration, IT service management and consulting services with the main emphasis being on IT education, IT infrastructure, IT security and business continuity. The company is located in Baden, Wallisellen and Wangen, and will now have 460 employees.
Logicare specializes in consulting projects, operations and support for all IT resources for healthcare providers, ensuring the highest standards for its customers. With around 80 employees, the company operates IT systems and infrastructure for more than 6,000 users and offers a comprehensive range of IT services for the entire industry. The company is located in Dübendorf, in the canton of Zurich.
