Javier is an investment banking associate at Oaklins Mexico, where he is involved in the execution of M&A and fundraising transactions, supporting clients throughout the entire deal lifecycle, including financial analysis, valuation, due diligence and investor outreach. He has led sell-side processes across sectors, such as healthcare, pharmaceuticals, food & beverage and logistics, working with mid-market companies in Mexico to achieve successful outcomes. Javier has experience advising both local and international clients on strategic transactions and capital raising initiatives. 

Prior to joining Oaklins, Javier worked in global corporate banking at J.P. Morgan, where he supported large corporate clients in Mexico with financing solutions, financial structuring and relationship management. He has a bachelor’s degree in finance from Tecnológico de Monterrey and has over five years of experience in the financial sector, including investment banking, corporate banking and venture capital.
