January 2020 — Mentha Capital has raised financing for the acquisition of BlijWerkt Groep B.V. and paraDIGMA.
Mentha Capital is an independent investment company that focuses on the lower-end of the mid-market in the Benelux. Mentha invests in established, medium-sized and profitable companies that have the opportunity to grow further through a buy-and-build strategy, expansion into new markets or an organizational transition.
BlijWerkt is a Dutch provider of occupational health services that help companies manage employee absenteeism. It has a diversified client base and is mainly active in the healthcare, government and educational sectors. paraDIGMA is an innovative and trend-setting group of cooperating companies with expertise in all areas of sustainable employability.
Our role in the transaction
Oaklins’ debt advisory team in the Netherlands advised Mentha Capital in this transaction and assisted in establishing a financing package aligned with the current business profile and that supports the management’s ambitions for the long term. Our partner, Bas Stoetzer, said: "Acquiring two companies at the same time is always an intense process. Together with Mentha and Oldenburgische Landesbank, we arranged a flexible debt package in a short time frame."
