Thomas Monteiro is a partner at Oaklins Olimpia Partners. He is also the co-head of Olimpia Tech, which is exclusively focused on the technology and innovation space. Thomas has extensive experience in banking, specializing in M&A, late-stage fundraising, corporate divestitures, corporate ventures, buy-outs, and debt and equity financing. Notable transactions include the sale of Mandic Cloud Solutions to Claranet Technology, the sale of banking software provider CRK to Topaz, part of Stefanini Group, and the sale of wine importer and distributor Grand Cru to the wine e-commerce business Evino.

John Farrugia is a managing partner at Oaklins Cavendish and co-leads Oaklins’ legaltech team. He has 19 years of corporate finance experience and an outstanding deal completion track record within the technology and tech-enabled business services sectors, having successfully completed over 50 transactions. John has been involved in advising clients across a variety of segments, including internet & media, application software, SaaS, infrastructure software, online gaming, IT security, storage and tech-enabled services, involving M&A (sell-side and buy-side), LBOs, public takeovers, public-to-private and fundraisings.

Bradford A. Adams co-leads Oaklins’ TMT team and is a managing director and COO at Oaklins TM Capital. He has advised numerous global TMT clients on complex M&A transactions, IPOs and fundraisings, including the sale of Sierra Systems, the Canadian business of Golden Gate Capital-backed Sierra Cedar, to NTT Data; the sale of Core Services, an Oracle-focused IT- managed services provider, to Novacap-backed Syntax; and the sale of Cutter Associates, an IT research and consulting firm, to Nomura Research Institute. Previously, Brad co-founded Boston Corporate Finance, a boutique, technology-focused investment banking firm, which merged with TM Capital in 2008.

Joanna Stone Herman co-leads Oaklins’ TMT team and is a partner at Oaklins DeSilva+Phillips. She has worked in the broader digital media and information industry for over 20 years, and has served in executive roles at Reed Elsevier, Thomson Reuters, Dow Jones, Time Warner and Accenture’s media & entertainment practice. More recently, she was co- founder and CEO of Librify, the exclusive e-book provider for Target, which was sold to Scribd. Joanna has worked on dozens of transactions on both the sell-side and buy-side. Recent notable transactions include representing Panjiva in its sale to S&P, representing Workman Publishing in its sale to Hachette, and supporting the acquisition of Netmaster Holdings Limited (CaseLines) by Thomson Reuters Corporation.
