Integrated waste management platform enters next phase growth phase with sale to leading asset manager
Deal Flash
ITC, Türkiye’s leading integrated waste management and waste-toenergy platform, has been acquired by Re-Pie Portfoy Yonetimi AS, one of Türkiye’s leading alternative asset management firms.
ITC operates a diversified waste management infrastructure platform across Türkiye, providing integrated solid waste management, waste treatment, energy generation from waste, landfill rehabilitation, recycling, refuse-derived fuel and biomethanol production services. Through its broad operational footprint and integrated infrastructure, the company transforms municipal, industrial, medical and other waste streams into renewable energy and value-added outputs, positioning ITC at the intersection of waste management, renewable energy and environmental services.
Founded in 2015, Re-Pie provides investment solutions across venture capital, real estate, securities and pension funds, as well as discretionary portfolio management. The acquisition represents a significant investment in a scaled and strategically important environmental infrastructure platform, and supports ITC’s continued growth and contribution to Türkiye’s transition towards a more sustainable and circular economy.
The sale of ITC to Re-Pie was a lengthy, intensive and highly complex process. The Oaklins INHERA team developed a deep understanding of our company and industry, combining sector, strategic and financial analysis to articulate ITC’s position and long-term potential. Their close involvement during due diligence and negotiations, effective coordination across the parties and solutionoriented approach to complex issues were extremely valuable. We are grateful for their professionalism, dedication and contribution to the successful completion of the transaction.ALI KANTUR, CHAIRMAN OF THE BOARD, ITC, TÜRKIYE
