Varro Vekstpartner acquires Krifon

Krifon, a leading Nordic B2B distributor specializing in home and garden products, has been acquired by Varro Vekstpartner. The transaction marks a new chapter for Krifon as it continues to strengthen its position as a trusted category partner to leading DIY chains, garden centers, and furniture retailers in Norway.

 

Krifon supplies a broad assortment of outdoor furniture, pergolas, planters, and decorative products to major DIY chains, garden centers, and furniture retailers in Norway. With more than 60 years of market experience, the company has built long-standing partnerships by combining curated assortments with efficient logistics and reliable supply.

The new ownership structure introduces Varro Vekstpartner as the lead owner of Krifon. Varro Vekstpartner is a Vestfold-based investment firm backed by a broad group of local investors, with strong ties to the region. Fontura AS, the investment company of the Fon family, will remain a minority shareholder in Krifon, continuing its long history of ownership and operational involvement in the company. Together, the owners aim to support Krifon’s continued development and growth in the home and garden market.

The seller was Outdoor Life Group, a European producer, omnichannel wholesaler and distributor of garden timber and garden cabins.
