Željko Perić

Principal

Željko is the principal and founder of Oaklins Croatia. He has extensive experience in leading numerous cross-border acquisitions, divestitures, restructurings, capital raisings and various other corporate finance projects. He is particularly focused on the consumer & retail sector, with notable clients including Fortenova, Pemo, Olival, Lonia, Podravka and Badel.

Prior to founding Oaklins Croatia in 2005, Željko spent 20 years holding senior managerial positions with some of the leading regional companies. He was CEO of Lura (now known as Dukat), one of the largest dairy companies in the CEE. Before joining Lura, Željko spent nine years as a finance director and CFO of PLIVA, the largest pharmaceutical company in the CEE, which, at that time, was listed on the London Stock Exchange. Željko graduated in economics from the University of Zagreb and subsequently continued his management education at Harvard Business School, IMD, Management Centre Europe and IEDC.
