Thibaut de Monclin

Managing Partner

Thibaut is a managing partner and founder of Oaklins France. He has particular expertise in TMT and in industrial machinery & components. Notable clients he has recently advised include Prochimir, Heico, Securinfor, Eloquant, Exclusive Group and Thermocompact.

Prior to founding Oaklins France in 2004, Thibaut worked at Chausson Finance as a partner. In 1997, Thibaut founded Surgery Online. Before that, he was the director of online services for Liris Interactive, part of the Havas Group, where he oversaw the launch of Cadreonline. Previous to that, he served as the general manager of Matra Hachette Multimedia, where he successfully managed several external growth operations. With Axime, he participated in developing their business as the commercial and marketing director of the multimedia division. His professional experience took him to the USA for two years, where he was general manager at Teletex Inc. and then president of Questel Inc. He began his career with McDonnell Douglas as a commercial engineer in the telecoms division.
