Mariana Gomes

Associate Director

Mariana is an associate director at Oaklins Portugal with over eight years of experience in M&A and financial advisory. She has advised clients on a broad range of sell-side and buy-side transactions, both domestic and cross-border. Throughout her career, Mariana has worked across a variety of industries, particularly industrials, consumer goods and retail, energy, technology, agriculture and business services. Recent transactions include the sale of TheNativeFoods, a Portuguese producer of frozen fruit-based products, to HCapital; the sale of Airport AI, a UK-based aviation technology company to 15below; and a series of buy-side acquisitions for Grupo Agris, a Portuguese family-owned group operating in the agricultural sector, including Epagro, Ludite and Sanipina.

Prior to joining Oaklins, Mariana worked in mergers and acquisitions at BNP Paribas in Lisbon. She has a master’s degree in finance from the Nova School of Business and Economics and a degree in management from ISCTE-IUL.
