Navitec Systems grundades år 1998 och inledde sin verksamhet med att utveckla navigationssystem för tunga gruvmaskiner. Företaget blev snabbt en marknadsledare inom navigeringsmjukvara. Med denna expertis som grund har bolaget framgångsrikt anpassat sina navigations- och flotthanteringslösningar för marknaderna för AGV och AMR.
Hawk Infinity är ett privatägt norskt investeringsbolag som specialiserar sig på företagsprogramvara, främst i norra Europa. Bolaget investerar i lönsamma mjukvaruföretag med starka marknadspositioner inom sina respektive nischer och samarbetar med befintliga ledningsteam för att stödja hållbar och långsiktig tillväxt.

Oaklins team i Finland rådgav ägarnai Navitec vid försäljningen av 100 % av bolagets aktier till Hawk Infinity. Oaklins team i Norge introducerade köparen och samarbetade nära med det finska teamet för att säkerställa en framgångsrik genomföring av transaktionen.
